Shallow U-plan manse, single storey, 5 bays, by Thomas Telford, in 1826. Rubble built with contrasting painted pointing, tooled dressings and harled flanks and rear. Central door and flanking (later) canted bay windows. Some 4-pane glazing. Corniced ridge stacks and Tomintoul slate roof. Later additions to rear. Rubble front retaining wall with cast-iron spearhead railings and high rear rubble garden wall.
