Farmstead, still in use. The OS 1st edition map shows a U-shaped steading enclosing a small court open to the north-west, and a rectangular building on its north-west. To the east, on the opposite side of a track, is a rectangular building with attached enclosure. The layout is unchanged on the OS 2nd edition 1888 map. The building to the east of the track is shown as disused on current OS maps. There is an early-19th century large U-shaped 2-storey and attic house, 3-bay. There are flanking single storey, single bay wings returning to the rear to form a back courtyard. It is constructed from coursed rubble with granite dressings and some modern harling and fenestration to the west elevation of the west wing. Large windows in the main South front, with 24-pane glazing. There is a similar first floor window in the east gable. 12-pane glazing is used on the front windows in the flanking wings. There is a centre door with a fanlight, two piended dormers, corniced end stacks and Tomintoul slate roofs. The slates are from the Cnoc Fergan quarries close by.
