Remains of a Clava type cairn, standing on a terrace above the River Avon. The circular cairn measures about 14 m in overall diameter and comprises a bank of small stones around a central space 5 m diameter. It would once have been revetted on both sides by kerbs of boulders, but only one kerbstone remains in the west arc. A large number of rubble stones have been cleared from area and placed at the edge of the field. Originally, a circle of standing stones surrounded the cairn but only five are now standing. Two have fallen, one is leaning and one is now in a wall. It is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps as 'remains of a stone circle'.
