The farmstead of Wester Belleheiglash, still in use, with a C listed farmhouse. It is depicted on the OS map of 1846 as three separate buildings grouped round an enclosure, open to the North. A fourth building lies to the West. There is a mill pond with lade on the East side. By 1888, there is a U-shaped steading with an open court to the East. Another building stands opposite the court, and a further building lies to the North, which may be a mill. The pond is still visible, although the lade is not depicted. It was re-built in 1987, incorporating earlier fabric and in similar style, but re-cast to the West. Today the farmstead retains the same shape with the pond still visible. The farmhouse is a 2-storey, 3-bay house, constructed from harled rubble with tooled dressings. There is a regular front with a centre door, and a slightly set-back single-storey wing at the North gable. The windows have 2-pane glazing, and there are coped end stacks on a graded Banffshire slate roof. The alternative spelling 'Bellehiglash' is also used.
