Two-storey and attic, south facing symmetrical 3-storey house, by A. and W. Reid of Elgin, 1854. Rubble built with tooled rubble dressings. Central door masked by later glazed porch and flanking tripartite windows with wooden mullions. Two later piended dormers in outer bays. Centre ground and first floor windows in east and west gables and lying-pane glazing throughout, including 2-window rear kitchen wing, 12-pane to dormers. Coped end stacks, graded Banffshire slate roof. The Walled Garden extends to west of house. The former Steading is a long single storey and loft, rubble built steading now accommodating garages and store in ground floor and first floor accommodation. Unaltered east elevation to road and graded Banffshire slate roof.
