Cropmarks of a circular enclosure, a rectangular enclosure, a rectangular building, rig and furrow and some features of possible prehistoric origin. The cropmarks lie over the whole field. An evaluation was carried out at this site by Headland in June 2002 in advance of a proposed pipeline. Two trenches were excavated at the northern edge of the site. Area A contained three shallow pits, the smallest of which may be a post-hole. There were no finds or other dating evidence associated with these pits. Also in Area A, a curvilinear ditch was noted running North-South across the site. Again, no finds were recovered and this ditch may represent a natural geological feature. In Area B, two pits were found but with no finds or associated dating evidence.
