Details Harbour. Built circa 1838, extended 1865 and circa 1890. It comprises a single basin, masonry harbour formed by a straight and an L-shaped pier. Enlarged by construction of a second larger concrete L-plan pier. A small wheeled crane made of cast and wrought iron with movable balance weight, by Bowser and Cameron, Glasgow, was photographed (Hume) on the pier in 1974. Site visit during Moray Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS) in June 2022 noted that the crane is no longer present.
