Details Site of glass kiln, one of the kilns belonging to the monks of Pluscarden which stood near the mouth of the Shogle Burn. Specimens from the site were donated to the NMAS in 1860. Other specimens are in Elgin Museum along with a glass encrusted crucible. OS site visit 1971 recorded that there was now no trace of the kiln and no local information.
