Abandoned fishing station, depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. It measures circa 16.3 x 5.5 m and is constructed of random rubble with a slated roof and two chimney stacks. The north elevation has four bays with an entrance at the northwest end and in the southwest facing elevation there are two bays and two entrances. The building shows evidence of having been altered internally, two partitions were noted, one still in place creating a separate compartment at the northwest end and the mark of a second on the walls adjacent to the door. At least one of the entrances in the southwest elevation is of a later construction. It seems likely that the building was utilised for military purposes during World War II. Visited 27/02/2008 by RCAHMS, and 03-06/02/2009 by AOC as part of desk-based survey of Lossie Forest.
