Details Home farm dated 1843. Idiosyncratic neo-classical, 2-storey steading built around courtyard. Constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Eleven bays with gabled ends advanced and containing windows in giant arched recesses. The centre is advanced with block pediment and containing tall round-arched and anta pilastered entrance. The three bays each side of the entrance have segmental arched anta pilastered cart shed openings to west and recesses containing windows to right. The second and tenth bays are narrow, very slightly advanced under main eaves with pilastered ground floor openings. First floor band course except at centre and end bays and blind walling at first floor except at end bays. Slated roof. Large opening slapped in east most bay. There is a later covered cattle court inside square. Octagonal horse-engine house located at east which is rubble built with segmentally arched openings and slated roof.
