Distillery, still in use. Built in 1831 as 'Glen Moray' brewery, in the classic layout of a Scottish farm steading. It is named as West Brewery on the OS 1st edition map. It was converted to a distillery in 1897 when warehouses were added to the north of the original complex, and existing buildings were greatly enlarged as depicted on the OS 2nd edition map on which it is mamed Glen Moray - Glenlivet Distillery. Distillery cottages are sited to the east of the warehouses, and Glen Moray House had been added east of the original buildings. Ten large buildings have been added to the complex over the years.
