Church depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows a small rectangular building annotated Baptist Chapel. There had been a small extension at the east end by the time of the 2nd edition map. It has since been significantly enlarged with a hall extension on the north side. The original building is of rubble sandstone with ashlar surrounds and dressings, with a steeply pitched slate roof. The west doorway has a simple hood mould, and is flanked by lancet windows. There is a small trefoil opening in the gablehead above, and the gable is surmounted by a large simple bellcote, corbelled out slightly from the gable face. North and south walls have four lancet windows. The interior has been modernised and altered in recent years, but retains a gallery at the west end supported by iron columns and fronted by wooden panelling.
