Details Remains of distillery, built in 1898. The distillery was a neat complex with a 2-storey and attic range of maltings, one 11 bay rubble built, the other 8-bay brick built with twin-vented pyramidal-roofed kiln. There was a 10 bay range of single-storey bonded stores. During World War II, several of the buildings were used as billets and storerooms. Distilling ceased in 1930, although the warehouses and maltings continued to be used. Sold in 1993 to an engineering firm. Most of the buildings have been demolished, only the later bonded warehouse at the north east end of the site survives.
