House, dated 1823. There are two wings to the rear, running North-East/South-West, that are shown on the first edition OS map as being about the same size as they are now, but on the second edition map as being longer. It is a two-storey, three-bay house facing South-West, with an additional bay in the ground floor. It is constructed from mixed squared rubble of varying colours, with contrasting tooled sandstone dressings, and some of the margins are painted. There is an off-centre entrance, and a near centre bipartite window. There is two-pane glazing used in all the windows. There is a deep bandcourse, decorative skewputts, an eaves band, coped end stacks (renewed at the West) and a local slate roof with a stone ridge. The eaves band is dated 'MDCCCXXIII' (1823).
