The cropmarks of an unenclosed settlement, consisting of circular enclosures and ring ditches with at least one square barrow, are visible in a field of cereal crop. Fieldwalking carried out over this site on 30th March 2014 by Moray Archaeology For All fieldwalking group. The majority of finds were worked flints and quartz, plus a fragment of a saddle quern, 2 sherds of prehistoric pottery, and a background scatter of medieval and post-medieval pottery. Aspects of the cropmarks probably relate to a small Pictish barrow cemetery site.
