Farmstead, still in use, and site of mill, shown on the historic OS maps onwards. On the 1st edition map it is depicted as a modified U-shaped steading, with the court open to the south-southeast, a smaller building partially blocking the court and an extension to the eastern wing and two buildings and a garden enclosure to the southeast within the meander of the Burn of Tynet and a mill to the east. To the south is a substantial pond created in another meander of the burn. By the 2nd edition map the pond is not shown, only one building and the garden enclosure are shown within the meander and the steading has been further modified within the court. The 2006 map shows that the steading has been roofed over and further modified. The mill building has been removed.
