Details Circular water tower constructed in the late 19th century, the earliest surviving example of a reinforced concrete building. Two-stage cement rendered tower with conical slate roof. Entrance is located on the east face at ground floor level. There is first floor entrance above, rising through wallhead within piended dormer and approached by cast-iron step-ladder. There is a wrought-iron weather-vane. Now disused but leased to local amenities association who are restoring it.
