Details Small Laird's house built in the early 17th century. The 3-storey frontage is built against a slope with a 2-storey rear. Frontage remodelled 1902 and now entered at first floor level by stair which oversails former ground floor entrance. There are two pedimented dormers breaking the wallhead to the left with 17th century monogrammed pediment. To right pediment of circa 1900 and blocked pair of round gun loops in the northeast gable which also has a re set monogrammed pediment. There are three circular gun loops grouped in a triangular form set in ground floor of rear elevation. Chamfered margins to early windows. The former ground floor retains centre entrance, though now blocked, with substantial draw bar hole. Recess for circular stairwell in north angle with associated splayed vent at the rear. Coped end stacks of slightly unequal size. Front and northeast gable all have splayed vents or loops and there is no evidence of earlier fireplace though a dated chimney lintel said to be masked by present fireplace in the northeast room. No other original features visible.
