Cast-iron road bridge, dated 1872 and built by John Willet, Engineer and James Abernethy of Aberdeen, Founders. It was restored in 1987-8. It is a 6-span bridge, with the centre 4 spans carried by ribbed cast iron segmental arch rings and the outer spans with brick lined arch rings. There are bullfaced grey granite piers with triangular cutwaters, and it has contrasting pink granite end balustrades, with tooled granite copes linking metal balusters over each metal arch. The outer spans are 25 feet (7.6 metres), and the centre spans are 40 feet (12.2 metres). The cutwaters and abutments may have been incorporated from an earlier bridge.
