House attributed to William Robertson, 1823. Two-storey, two 3-bay houses fronting Seafield Street (Numbers 23 and 25) and as bowed 5-bay angle block to The Square. Rubble stone construction with tooled ashlar dressings. Centre entrances to Numbers 23 and 25 Seafield Street reached by short flights of steps (No 25 has raised basement owing to sloping site). Slightly recessed centre three bays to curved front of No 16 The Square with centre entrance and blind outer first floor windows, mainly 12-pane glazing. Corniced end and ridge stacks, piended and bowed slate roof. Range extends to front The Square as single storey screen wall with 2 entrances, some gable tuskers revealed.
