Houses dating to 1820-30, probably by William Robertson. Three 2-storey, 3-bay houses, stepped down slope. Rubble stone construction with tooled ashlar margins. Central entrance to each house with panelled door, regular fenestration (except modern shop windows in ground floor of No 4), and 12-pane glazing. Coped end stacks and gabled and piended slate roofs. Number 2 makes up part of 7 Seafield Place (NJ56NW0135).
