Lodge, in residential use. Mid 19th century, single storey, asymmetrical 3-bay gate lodge. Harled, with painted tooled ashlar margins. Centre entrance in west front (to drive) flanked at left by slightly advanced gabled bay with projecting canted window; bipartite at right and in south gable. Hoodmoulded tripartite in north gable (to road), small slit lights in gables, lattice-pane glazing. Ridge stack and slate roof with projecting eaves, decorative bargeboards and turned wooden apex finials. Later rear lean-to extension and swept dormer. There is a pair of mid 19th century cast-iron spearhead carriage gates and a matching pedestrian gate. Flanking matching spearhead railings mounted on low ashlar coped harled rubble wall.
