Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as an L-shaped building with three long rectangular outbuildings to the east and a mill-pond, mill dam and lade also to the east. By the 2nd edition OS map the L-shaped building and one of the long rectangular buildings have been connected to form a larger structure. The 2005 map shows these structures still in use with modifications. The mill-pond is not shown, but the mill lade is still shown. Following demolition of the steading, an archaeological watching brief was carried out in September 2006 during groundworks for a new building, but no archaeological features were observed apart from stone and ceramic land drains of late 19th and early 20th century date that crossed the area.
