West Lodge to Brodie Castle (NH95NE0009) built in 1830-40. It is a single storey, irregular L-plan lodge with 3-bay east frontage to the road. It is constructed of white washed rubble with tooled ashlar margins. There are wide gabled bays to the south and the east, with a porch in the re-entrant angle. Some lying-pane glazing survives, and there are 2- and 4-pane replacements elsewhere. There are tall corniced ridge and end stacks and shallow pitched slate roofs with projecting eaves.
