Period Notes Original chapel built by Alexander III in 1275; burnt 1390, re-erected immediately after; second church built 1775, with subsequent alterations, demolished 1901. Replaced by present church 1904-6. 1775 gatepiers survive. Stained glass dates to 1922 and 1931-1939.
