Details Public house, built in the mid to late 18th century. It is a two-storey L-plan building, with a later 19th century arm, forming U-plan frontage to Caroline Street. It is all rendered, and lined as ashlar masonry. The original entrance is in the angle, now masked by a single storey lean-to porch extending across the East-facing re-entrant. The property has two ground floor windows, and one first floor diminutive attic window in the North-East gable. In the South-East gable, it also features a central door with flanking windows and is a glazed oculus above, all facing onto Caroline Street. There is 12-pane glazing used, and corniced and coped end stacks with a slate roof and stone ridge.
