Details Disused railway station, opened 25 March 1858 on the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway. It was closed to passengers in May 1965 and to goods in November 1966. The OS 2nd edition map shows the station with footbridge crane,weighing machine and signal box at the east end of the station, though this has since been removed. At the west end of the station was formerly a gate box, now a signal box. The original site of Kinloss station was slightly to the east at NJ0740161340 which formed a junction with the Findhorn Railway (NJ06SW0047)
