Details Carved stone found in the mid 19th century described in the OS Name Book as 'mutilated remains of a female effigy or bust with the hair curled, parted on the forehead and tied in a knot behind, and found among some rubbish about the year 1862’. It is not clear whether this refers to one of the Celtic heads recorded from Burghead (see NJ16NW0005). Exact location of the findspot is not known.
