Period Notes Built in the early-19th century, but probably incorporating earlier fabric, and there have been subsequent alterations to the shape. In the 1970s, the mill-wheel and machinery was used to power a battery at Scalan Cottage, but is now not in use. It was designated on 22/02/1972, and its status was changed from a B to a C(S) on 09/11/1987.
