Details Glen Grant distillery, established in 1840 by James and John Grant. One of the first licensed distilleries in the Scottish Highlands. An attractive group of rubble buildings with particularly large and fine 3-storey and attic, 7-bay rubble block of bonded stores. It is still in production. It is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, 1846 and 1888, which also show a milldam and mill lade running from the west.
