Farmstead, converted into residential use, built in the early 19th century. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a U-plan steading with an attached horsemill to the south. On the 2nd edition OS map it has been altered to quadrangular, the horsemill removed and additions to the north. Current OS maps show further additions and alterations. The B-listed 2-storey, 3-bay west facing house with continuous single storey and loft, 3-bay wing at the south gable (possibly an earlier dwelling house) now gutted internally for garage use. Harl-pointed rubble, with tooled rubble dressings. Central door to house, 12-pane glazing to regular fenestration. Wing also with centre door and small flanking windows with 9-pane glazing: diminutive loft opening above entrance. Coped end stacks and slate roofs. There is a 2-storey modern harled wing at rear. Also modern garage entrance slapped in rear of single storey and loft wing.
