Details West lodge, gatepiers and gates to Aberlour House (NJ24SE0020). Designed by A and W Reid 1856, the lodge is in Italianate style, of 2 storeys, harled with tooled and polished ashlar dressings and margins. It has an asymmetrical 3-bay entrance front, gabled pilastered entrance in the outer single storey southwest bay. The late 19th century gatepiers and gates comprise a pair of tall rusticated ashlar piers with egg and dart detailing to the base of the cornice, and attenuated swagged finials with fluted urn bases. There are ornate cast and wrought iron carriage gates, and flanking cast iron spearhead railings incorporating a pedestrian entrance.
