Details Hall, built in the Scottish Renaissance style. Rectangular with crowstepped gables and tower at northwest. Attributed to A. and W. Reid of Elgin, dated 1889. Tooled rubble construction with tooled and polished ashlar dressings, slate roof. Centre entrance in recessed segmental porch with flanked narrow lights and large 4-light window above centre under shallow decorative head. Slightly set back single storey, single bay wing at right (southwest) and at left (northeast also slightly set back) 3-stage square tower with narrow first floor corniced windows, small second floor oculi, corbelled and crenellated upper stage with plain gargoyles surmounted by square leaded belfry with 3-light louvred round-headed openings in each face and shaped leaded ogee roof in 17th century manner with weathervane. Two-bay north elevation and 3-bay south, with long windows breaking wallhead under ball finialled gablets. Single storey and attic 3-bay cottage abuts east rear gable, with corniced end stacks, crowsteps and slate roof.
