Details War Memorial honouring those from Birnie parish who died during WW I and WW II. Situated within Birnie Kirk graveyard (NJ25NW0001), it is an ornate and unusual memorial. It resembles the gable end of chapel, with two inlaid plaques below a Romanesque carved arch. It is generally in good condition, but with lichen on the sandstone and a some fading of the lettering. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
