Large rectangular cropmark with internal divisions, found while checking vertical aerial photographs. Trial trenching was carried out by CFA in September 1995 as part of larger area of field evaluation (NJ26NW0178) within Cemetery Field - see also NJ26NW0001, NJ26NW0069. Eight trenches were dug between Kinnedar Farm and the cemetery, recording evidence of a variety of uses including pits, possible post holes, dump deposits, drainage ditches, agricultural features and animal burials. Artefacts recovered from these features indicate many to be of modern origin. Geophysical survey was carried out by University of Aberdeen in November 2015.
