Details A watching brief was carried out in May 2022 by Stuart Farrell for a new gas main connection at 141 High Street. A single piece of burnt bone and a rim sherd of glazed red-ware medieval pottery were found, with the area cut heavily by later modern services. No other archaeological deposits or features were revealed.
