Details Remains of the walled garden within the designed landscape of Inverernan House (NJ31SW0022). It was probably built circa 1830,and is rectangular in plan. It has high flat-coped rubble walls, stepped to the southeast with rounded angles to the north and east. There are lean-to potting sheds on the outer elevation of the west wall and a low stone structure to the outer elevation of the south wall. The 1st edition OS map shows the garden divided into quadrants with a half-width walled extension to the southwest.
