Former dovecot and kennel range, now converted to a dwelling, built in the earlier to mid 19th century, possibly in 1828 when Invernan House was reconstructed, with later alterations, including in 2004. It is a single-storey, six-bay, rectangular-plan cottage constructed from coursed granite with granite ashlar dressings, and built within Invernan House designed landscape (NJ31SW0022). There is a shaped Tudor gable incorporating a bracketed alighting ledge surmounted by a round-headed pigeon loft entrance with two-tiered flight hole and fleur de lis gablehead finial. A four-pane glazing pattern is used within timber sash and case windows. The grey slate roof has a stone ridge with small air vents, there are gablet-coped skews to the centre gable, flat-coped skews to outer gables and block skewputts.
