Details Gateway, still in use, built in circa 1956 by A. G. R. Mackenzie. The gateway is sited to the west of Candacraig House (NJ31SW0006), and is an identical pair with the east gateway (NJ31SW0182). There are tall square-section, squared rubble piers with broken pediment tops. Adjoining boundary walls flank two-leaf ironwork gates with the Wallace family crest (An ostrich in full flight proper) and the Falconer family crest (A demi-angel praying between two sprigs of laurel proper).
