Details Site of a croft depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The 1st edition shows two rectangular buildings alongside the road with a square enclosure to the west, and a series of field enclosures to the south. The two buildings had been joined by the time of the 2nd edition map. Site visit by Mott Macdonald in 2022 during walkover survey ahead of electricity cabling works (NJ40SE0197) noted no visible remains of the croft, although a low concentration of stones was noted in the area. A slight dip might indicate its possible presence. To the northeast of the buildings the OS historic maps also show a well, though nothing was visible at the time of site visit.
