Details Draw well depicted on the OS 1st edition map alongside a field boundary. The 2nd edition map shows a small rectangular structure adjacent to a pump. The pump is shown on the current OS maps, but not the building. Site visit by Mott Macdonald in 2022 during walkover survey ahead of electricity cabling works (NJ40SE0197) recorded a stone filled depression within a wider area of clearance. There is an opening circa 1.25 m in diameter, although obscured by clearance and unclear if this was a structure, but it has the appearance of an outer bank around the sunken area. The section of drystone wall field boundary was also recorded, surviving up to four courses, 0.8 m in height.
