Original house built 1595, destroyed 1644; E wing 1741, central house of 1785; W wing may date from 1787 or earlier although previous notes state 1887 which does not match; sundials 1722 & 1892; N wing with current house built 1900. Gardens largely 18thC with sections 17thC or earlier; east gate piers 1900; doocot 17thC; obelisk erected 1908.
