Details Farmstead still in use, shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The 1st edition shows a group of four and an enclosure. buildings, By the time of the 2nd edition another building had been added and a horsemill is shown on the south side of the southernmost building. Two of the buildings are shown as ruinous. on current maps and the horsemill has been removed. RCAHMS also note that the pre-improvement toun of Brae of Scurdargue is depicted on an estate plan of AD 1776 held by the National Archives of Scotland at NJ 4773 2873.
