Details Road bridge, dating from 1810-11, repaired 1829. Three-span bridge of dressed stone with segmental arches and triangular cutwaters extending up to form semi-hexagonal pedestrian refuges. Central arch larger than other two. The bridge was designed by Thomas Telford, surveyed by William Minto, and the contractor was W. Farquharson.
