Details Kennethmont church was built in circa 1812 in a simple gothic rectangle style with originally a horseshoe gallery inside. It has four windows on the south wall but none on the north wall. The door is in the east gable with a window and fluted square bellcote above with a Mears and Stainbank bell of 1910. The church is built of coursed rubble and harl pointed. The glazing is original. The interior was recast in 1910 by G Bennet Mitchell. There is a Leith-Hay pew and mural tablets. The cemetery is still in use, within which is a 1939-1945 War Memorial plaque (NJ52NW0064) which was previously on the church wall (a full transcription of this is held in the AAS archives). The church is now no longer in use.
