Farmstead still in use. It was built some time after the mid 19th century as it does not appear on the OS 1st edition map. The 2nd edition shows a T-shaped range and rectangular building with a small attached enclosure to the south. The layout remains largely unchanged on current OS maps. A sales brochure of 4 October 1932 provides particulars of Upper Lenchie Farm including details of the farmhouse and the steading. The house comprised four rooms and a milk house. The steading comprised a barn and mill with loft, a stable for two horses, a byre for sixteen cattle, a cart shed, a turnip house, a hay loft, a loose box, a pigsty and a fowl house.
