Remains of a dovecot, possibly of late 17th century date, measuring 5.9 m by 5.5 m. The south wall stands to circa 1.4 m but the remaining three walls are higher, the north wall surviving to roof level. The interior is overgrown and full of debris. Whilst the size and shape are in keeping with it being a dovecot, the rectilinear doorway and opening (possibly a window) in the north wall indicate that it has been used as a domestic structure at some period. No indications of nesting boxes are left, possibly suggesting they had been wooden. An internal ledge shows that it had contained an upper storey. Associated with Conzie Castle NJ54NE0012.
