It is a Jacobean, symmetrical 2-storey ashlar building made up of two cross-plan sections, with a centre pend arch and ogee capped octagonal tower. It includes a Mears bell of 1840. There is a memorial stained glass window located in a stairwell, commemorating former pupils and teachers who gave their lives in World War I. It was designed and executed by J. A. H.
