Details Remains of a stone circle which surrounds a former parish church (NJ55SE0106). In 1866 two stones remained of the circle. St Marnan's stone is situated on top of a hill within the churchyard and is probably a pillar stone of a recumbent stone circle. The name St Marnan's stone is derived from local tradition that suggested St Marnan preached there in the 7th Century AD. The standing stone to the North is obviously not in its original position.
