Details Church Hall, formerly the parish church, comprising four bays with a clock tower. It was built in 1815, a clock tower was added in 1876, and the building was renovated in 1881. it is built of coursed dark rubble, with contrasting sandstone ashlar dressings. There are four round-headed keystoned windows on the south elevation. The tower is of four stages with corbelled and crenellated parapet. A plaque on the tower states 'This tower was erected by public subscription to contain a clock and chime of bells donated by A Fleetwood Pellew Wilson, Director of Union Bank of London 1877'. A war memorial (NJ56NE0049) stands outside the hall. A watching brief was carried out by MAS in October - November 2018 during demolition of the 19th century extension on the north side of the church and groundworks for a replacement extension. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded during the groundworks.
